Welcome!
A photoshoot is not about getting everything right. It’s about being together, feeling at ease, and allowing something real to unfold. It’s a moment to pause, reconnect, and create images that truly reflect you.
This guide will help you prepare for your photoshoot in a simple and relaxed way. From a few practical details to the way the session will gently unfold, everything is designed to help you feel calm, present, and fully yourself. You don’t need to perform, or to control every detail.
I’ll guide you softly when needed, create space for natural interactions, and take care of the small things along the way — so you can simply focus on being together.
The more you let go, the more meaningful and alive your images will feel.
I can’t wait to meet you and create something beautiful with you.

A little preparation now, so you can simply enjoy the moment later.
1. Take a moment to imagine
your session
If you haven’t already, you can take a moment to explore what kind of session feels most like you.
This helps you connect with the atmosphere, the rhythm, and the feeling you’d like to create.

2. Prepare the look & feel
of your session
To help you feel confident and aligned, I’ve created a style guide to gently guide your outfit choices.
It will help you find a balance between feeling like yourselves and creating a beautiful visual harmony.
3. Getting ready on the day
These are a few gentle tips to help your family photos feel natural and relaxed — whether you’re coming with toddlers, grandparents, or planning an extended family photoshoot.
Practical details
• arrive a few minutes early
• bring snacks and wipes if needed
With children
There’s no need to ask them to smile or look at the camera. I’ll create connections with them naturally, through play, movement and small “missions” if needed.
Avoid using pressure or rewards - it often creates tension and takes them out of the moment. If a child feels overwhelmed, frustrated or upset, it’s completely okay. We’ll simply take a few minutes, slow things down, and gently move through it together.
These moments are part of the session too, and they often lead to the most real and meaningful images.
With grandparents & extended family
Having multiple generations together is something truly special. There’s no need for everyone to “pose perfectly”: what matters most is connection.
We’ll take the time to include everyone in a natural and comfortable way, creating space for both group moments and quieter interactions.
Simple gestures, closeness, and shared attention are often enough to create images that feel deep, warm, and meaningful.
Before we begin your photoshoot
Before we start, I’ll invite you to keep this in mind: Stay close, be together. The less space there is between you, the more your connection comes through.
Focus on each other, not on the camera. Move, play, be present. I’ll guide you softly when needed, and refine small details along the way, but everything will come from you.

A final note
You don’t need to prepare perfectly. Just come as you are, be close to each other, and allow yourself to enjoy the moment.
Family photos are not only about how we looked at a certain moment in time. They are about remembering how it felt to be together.
I can't wait to capture that joy for your family.
